Sky in Your Apartment provides a hassle-free way for apartment residents to enjoy Sky TV’s great range of programmes and services such as Sky+HD. Their Shared Dish system gives people living in apartments the same entertainment choices as people living in houses.
The challenge:
Sky in Your Apartment required a Social media audit in the Irish Web space, to account for the service awareness, competitors’ presence, user’s sentiment and influence analysis with opportunity detection for the brand.
The solution:
Through our social media monitoring software we collected a selection of more than 1000 posts which we then reviewed and produced a comprehensive report based on tasks like the following:
- Identifying and quantifying the interactions: in different blogs, social networks, forums and the Irish web in general
- Analysing the users’ sentiment and general levels of service awareness
- Online influencers: Researching the leading blogs and opinion sites relevant to the Sky-in-your-apartment audiences, determining the the authority and hignlightinh opportunities for the brand.
- Keyword/tag weight: The keyword analysis helped us establish the tone and context the different conversations and cross checking this with the sentiment analysis.
- Analysis according to media type: According to the different platforms (e.g. forums, Twitter, Facebook) we drilled down into the different metrics, with an onus on opportunity detection according to each outlet.
