The client
QPR is the US leader in asphalt repair materials and engineered solutions for infrastructure. QPR has become the standard for cold patch companies across the US and is quickly becoming the world’s number one choice.
The challenge:
Due to a nationwide product launch, QPR required a dedicated website that caters for all the needs in asphalt plants, from paper towels to high vis equipment and pavement material. The client needed a fully dynamic site with a CMS (Content Management System). The big challenge was that the project had to be finished in only three weeks, on time for QPR’s annual sales conference. It was also made clear to Channelship that the website had to be fully visible on search engines and beat their competitors´ look & feel and user experience.

The site launched with and initial product line to be improved bythe suggestions of the users (site counts with numerous feedback widgets). The front-end was designed to showcase key products. It also allows for the creation of specific meta-tags and the rewriting of URLs with search engines in mind. Non-technical users can create and fully manage the different section of the website. We have also implemented a blog. QPR started blogging, setting the trend, pioneering in the industry.
